So how did I become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator?
“£60?” – on family Christmas cards? That’s when it all started as I was shocked at just how expensive nice greeting cards had become. It was that same Christmas that I was given a really simple, but lovely, handmade card by a neighbour. I told myself that it had to be cheaper to make my own cards and that was the beginning!
As most of you know (or don’t if you are new to crafting), that by the time that you have the latest and greatest of most craft supplies and tools, it’s not cheaper at all, but an awful lot more fun!
I have now been papercrafting since I was 20 and have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since 2008. Previously, I have had the privilege of being an Editor of five UK papercrafting magazines. I have also been featured in several more too, which has given me the opportunity to mix with all sorts of crafters from all walks of life and I loved it!
So, how did I get into Stampin’ Up! particularly?
I have run a local Scrapbooking Club for over ten years now and one night, we had a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator attend and show me the catalogue. That was it! I loved it all! Their style was very “me” and I had a wish list as long as my arm. I was just starting to think about making some cards to sell. The fact that everything is so co-ordinated, it really would make the job a lot easier.
And that was just the beginning….

I decided to join as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator so that I could benefit from the Starter Kit being such a bargain. Getting the discount on my addiction was a bonus.
I did my first party on 1st October 2008 and I’m still really having fun doing workshops and classes. I now have a team of over 250 Demonstrators and we are growing every month.
My Stampin’ Up! journey has already been so enjoyable, I can’t help but recommend it to everyone!
