Making something that means something with Stampin’ Up!’ Soft Sayings Kit

Stampin Up Birthday Wishes Challenge

Stampin’ Up! Soft Sayings Kit

Have you seen the Stampin’ Up! Soft Sayings Kit on page 10 and 11, of the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue??

I like quick and simple! I am a fan of not having to spend hours designing and I love just following a creative process without thinking too much. I LOVE Kits! And I especially love Stampin’ Up! Kits! The above kit is the new All Inclusive Kit from the NEW STAMPIN’ UP! CATALOGUE.

But what I love most of all, is making something that means something. And that is what I want to share with you. Something that I am doing later this month, and something you can join me in too.

Stampin' Up! Soft Sayings Kit

Stampin’ Up! has a long history of supporting philanthropic causes. ‘Helping others’ and ‘making a difference’ is part of their mission statement.

I am excited to be celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 10th anniversary in the UK, and to mark this special occasion, Stampin’ Up! UK has set us a challenge to make a whopping 10,000 cards across two card-making weekends in 2017.

These cards will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The first card-making weekend is called ‘Birthday Wishes Challenge’ and takes place between Friday 23 June and Sunday 25 June. (The second card-making weekend is called ‘Christmas Cheer Challenge’ and takes place between Friday 1 December and Sunday 3 December.)

About Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free “home away from home” accommodation to families, whilst their child is in hospital. There are 14 Ronald McDonald Houses across the UK, all located close to specialist children’s hospitals.

The houses are open 365 days a year and are equipped with everything you would find in a family home. Families can get a good night’s sleep, prepare their own meals and feel at home, knowing that they are only moments away from their child (http://www.rmhc.org.uk/what-we-do).

So, what has this got to do with a card kit?

Well…..two things…

The first thing is that on Saturday 24th June, I am holding an event in Crawley, West Sussex between 10am and 1pm. The cost is £30. During the event, you will receive a Soft Sayings All Inclusive Card Kit (value £31.50).

The kit includes everything you need apart from glue (and I can provide that if necessary). You receive an acrylic block, a stamp set, ink, card, paper, die cuts and more to make 20 cards. 2 cards each of 10 different designs.

During the class, you will make all 20 cards. You keep 10 of them and you donate 10 of the cards you make to the Ronald McDonald House Charities so that parents can use them in their time of need. I’d love to be able to forward a minimum of 100 cards from our event to go towards the 10,000 target.

If you would like to join me at the class, then just fill in the form below and I’ll contact you with payment details. Due to the time of the event, bookings for this class will close on Sunday 18th June.

But don’t fear…..

If you don’t live close enough to me to make the class, I would still love for you to take part. Order a kit through me, filling in the form below and I will get a kit shipped out to you and you can take part. You just need to make your cards over that weekend and then you can forward them to me and I will pack them up with all the others and send them on. You can of course, add one of the kits to your online order when you are ordering other bits and pieces too, you don’t need to use this link. Product code is 145466 and this months Online Host Code is:

If you would like to see what comes in the kit, have a look at this video.

So, what are you waiting for?  Want to help make something that means something?

  1. I am interested in coming to the charity workshop on the 24th. Can you tell me where it is being held in Crawley and also if there is parking available?
