Introduction to Me and My Journey to Tropic Skincare

Hello! I'm Natalie, and I'm so glad you've found your way here.

If you're a woman navigating midlife, looking for natural skincare that actually works, or searching for something that feels like it's just for you after years of putting everyone else first, then you're in the right place.

I'm a Tropic Skincare Ambassador, but more than that, I'm someone who genuinely understands what it's like to prioritise your own wellbeing after spending years focused on everyone else.

I know what it feels like to want simple, effective solutions without the overwhelm. And I know the joy that comes from being part of a supportive community where you can be yourself.

This blog is my little corner of the internet where I'll share skincare tips, product recommendations, real-life experiences, and hopefully a bit of encouragement along the way.

But first, let me tell you how I got here.

I was initially drawn to Tropic because I was looking for natural skincare that wasn't tested on animals and actually did what it promised.

I've always had quite sensitive skin. You know the kind – reactive, easily irritated, the sort that makes you nervous to try new products in case you wake up red and blotchy the next day.

I wanted something gentle, simple, and effective, without lots of harsh ingredients or complicated ten-step routines that felt more like a chemistry experiment than self-care.

Tropic really aligned with what I was personally searching for. Natural ingredients, cruelty-free, freshly made, and designed to work with your skin, not against it. No nasties, no fuss, just products that do what they say they will.

And honestly? That's exactly what I found.

Over the past year, I've been focusing much more on my own health and wellbeing.

It's funny how life works, isn't it?

You spend so long looking after everyone else....family, work, responsibilities....and then one day you realise you've completely forgotten to look after yourself.

That was me.

I became more conscious about what I was using on my skin (not just my face), what I was putting into (and onto) my body, and how I was spending my time.

It wasn't just about skincare anymore, it was about a whole approach to living more consciously and taking better care of myself.

But here's the thing: starting this Tropic journey wasn't just about skincare.

I've previously built a very successful direct sales business, and some of my favourite memories were the friendships, the events, the fun, the shared goals, and the excitement of working towards incentives together.

There's a real buzz that comes with direct sales. A sense of connection, camaraderie, and being part of something bigger than yourself.

I genuinely missed that.

I missed the community. I missed the friendships. I missed the feeling of celebrating wins together, supporting each other through challenges, and being part of a team that genuinely cared.

When you've experienced that kind of connection, it's hard not to want it again. It just took me a little while to navigate the last few years in my personal life to realise it.

From my experience, direct sales really can be an amazing journey, not just financially, but socially and personally too.

Yes, there's the potential to earn flexible income, and that's brilliant. But for me, it was always about so much more than that. It was about:

• The friendships and genuine connections

• The personal growth and confidence-building

• The fun of events, trips, and incentives

• The excitement of shared goals

• The buzz of being part of a supportive community

• The joy of helping other women find something that worked for them

It's that whole experience I wanted back. And when I discovered Tropic, I realised I could have all of that and be part of a brand I genuinely believed in.
